No Olympics?
So it appears the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled in favor of Barcelona and other clubs team trying to keep their players out of the Olympics. Now the question becomes whether the teams will heed Sepp Blatter’s suggestion and allow the players to go anyway.
Here’s hoping they do. Would prefer to see Messi play against Ivory Coast and Serbia than against Beitar Jerusalem or Wisla Krakow, frankly. And, it appears Messi is going to force Barcelona’s hand on this one by insisting on staying in Beijing. Stay tuned. This one could get interesting.
